For Thursday, 1/31, you are completing some reading in your book then doing a glossary entry for the following gods/goddesses.

Big Book page numbers: 25-37
Little Book page numbers: 27-36

Glossary Entry for: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hermes, Ares, Hephaestus, Hestia

A glossary entry should have the Greek name of the god/goddess, their Roman name, what they do, what they're in charge of, why they're important, and information about their special tree or animal, if applicable.

Completion of this assignment will earn you 10 Sheep.

Due 1/8 Advertisement Assignment

You are creating an advertisement for a product that could be used by a mythological character. Your advertisement must include:

 Name of product
 Picture of product
 Explanation of what product does
 Catchy slogan (the cheesier the better)
 Endorsement from a “mythological” spokes-person
 Your product should be UNIQUE. I don’t want an entire class doing ‘superwax’ for poor Icarus.
 Likewise, your produce must be school appropriate. (Designing something for Zeus should be avoided—trust me.)
